1. Definitions
"Client": You, the person or entity booking services or purchasing products.
"Services": Photography sessions, digital/image products, or related offerings.
"Products": Physical prints, albums, or other tangible items.
2. Booking & Payments
A. Sessions & Retainers
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking date.
The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the session or on delivery of proofs (for commercial work).
Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit cards (via Stripe), PayPal, or bank transfer.
B. Rescheduling & Cancellations
Rescheduling: Must be requested 72+ hours in advance; retainers transfer to new date.
Cancellations: Retainer is forfeited; full balance due if canceled <48 hours before the session.
No-shows: 100% of the total fee is charged.
C. Late Fees
Unpaid balances incur 5% monthly interest after 30 days.
3. Session Terms
A. Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate session details (e.g., location permits, wardrobe requirements).
Ensure all subjects have consented to photography (for minors, a guardian must be present).
B. Photographer’s Rights
May terminate sessions for unsafe/illegal behavior or harassment without refund.
Reserves the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, or competitions (unless a "Private Session" is purchased).
C. Weather & Delays
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Late arrivals reduce session time.
4. Products & Delivery
A. Print Orders
Turnaround: 7–10 business days for standard prints; 14+ days for framed/custom items.
Shipping: Costs and timelines vary by location; tracking provided.
Damaged items must be reported within 7 days of delivery for replacement.
B. Digital Files
Delivered via password-protected gallery with 30-day download window.
Client receives a print release for personal use only (no commercial rights or editing allowed).
5. Intellectual Property
Copyright: Hossam Abbas retains ownership of all images.
Licenses:
Personal Use: Social media sharing permitted with photo credit (@hossam_abbas_photography).
Commercial Use: Requires a separate license fee (inquire for pricing).
Unauthorized Use: Editing, selling, or AI training with images is prohibited.
6. Liability & Limitations
Equipment Failure: In rare cases, we may reshoot at no cost or refund fees.
Data Loss: While backups are standard, we’re not liable for loss due to technical failures.
Model Releases: Clients must obtain permissions for third-party likenesses (e.g., event guests).
7. Client Approval & Revisions
Proofs: Delivered within 14 days (portraits) or 30 days (events/commercial).
Revisions: Two rounds of minor edits are included; additional edits billed at $75/hour.
8. Dispute Resolution
Mediation: Disputes will first attempt resolution via negotiation.
